Principal's Message
Where did 2017 go?  Our first year of business flew by and proved busy, productive and plentiful.  We are so grateful to our clients and industry partners for all they have brought to our company!  It was also a wild year nationally, global and personally - full of excitement, challenges, hardship and growth.  What I do know is that what we go through - as a community or nation or otherwise - we go through together and grow stronger through kindness and grace.

Wishing you and yours a peaceful, rejuvenating holiday season and joyful New Year.

Break Room Under Construction

officemorph is proud to be a part of the project team for the new Easterseals Dublin location, expanding the non-profit's footprint in the Bay Area. Easterseals was founded in 1919, and is the nation's leading provider of services and support for children and adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), aiming to give each child with a disability the support necessary to participate fully in life. 

The new Dublin office will be home to Easterseals' new technology division to streamline their services. The project entails the conversion of 30,000 rsf of light industrial space into a collaborative office space, including multiple work spaces, conference rooms, a break room and a demonstration room. The two-phased project commenced construction in earlier in November, after a exercise in value engineering and redesign. We are so excited to build out Easterseals' new home!

Dance Moves for a Smooth Move

Moving your office is much more complex that moving your house for reasons that extend beyond the fact that offices have more furniture and boxes to relocate. Managing a smooth corporate move involves countless tasks and planning should begin as soon as the new space has been identified.

Some key considerations for corporate office relocations are:

  • Don’t Move Your Junk – When your business moves offices, it is not just a chance to upgrade your workspace, but its an opportunity to purge files and dispose of things that are not being used. Identify what your staff can live without and develop a plan for disposal or moving documents to electronic archives.
  • Play Nice With Property Management – One of the first steps to planning a smooth relocation is to make an early connection with the property management of your existing building and new building.  Get a clear understanding of building rules, elevator reservation protocol, time frames moves can happen, and insurance requirements.  Having a strong relationship with both your outgoing and incoming property management team will pay dividends, and how your moves are operated are no exception.
